Business Development Executive

Job description / Role

Cozmo Travel, a part of the Air Arabia group of Companies is seeking a Business Development Executive for one of its subsidiaries. Reporting to the Sales Manager, the individual will be responsible for driving the sales of car rental and transportation services across direct, corporate, and travel agency clientele. The job holder will also be responsible for increasing brand awareness, identifying and acquiring new business and providing a high level of customer service experience.

Key Accountabilities:
- Collect and analyse market/ client information to identify and contact new potential clients; follow up with visits for the development of new business.
- Develop and maintain strong, sustainable relationships with key corporate/ retail clients.
- Liaise with the marketing department while managing all activities related to advertising and brand awareness.
- Identify requirements of clients and recommend/develop customized solutions for car rental and transportation services
- Responsible for promoting and selling of car rental and transportation services including short/long term leases and passenger transportation.
- Responsible for achieving/exceeding agreed individual sales targets.
- Keep updated with current market trends and knowledge related to costing, pricing and rate calculations.
- Responsible for providing clients with transportation services quotations; negotiate and close sales deals.
- Represent the company at trade exhibitions and events
- Liaise with Finance department for issuance of invoices and to assist with payment collection (as and when required)
- Develop and introduce effective client retention schemes.

Requirements

- Educated to a minimum of Bachelor’s Degree Level.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a similar role, preferably within the car rental industry.
- Must be Computer literate, well versed with MS Office and have excellent command of Excel
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English. Arabic would be an advantage
- Customer focused with strong negotiation skills

Knowledge:
- Knowledge of car rental / transportation services business.
- Contract management.
