Job description / Role
A leading international law firm in the UAE is looking to hire a Business Development Executive to join their Dubai team.
Responsibilities:
• This role works closely with the Business Development Manager, fee earners and support staff throughout their global offices to help win new clients and new business for the practice.
• You will provide necessary support for global, regional and local bids.
• You will also assist with event management; liaising with venues, preparing a client list, managing internal diaries and organising logistics.
• Conduct market research and market intelligence to spot potential business opportunities.
Requirements
• Candidates must have a positive attitude and bring an enthusiasm to their job that is required for a business development position. You must be used to working in a fast paced environment and be able to prioritise tasks.
• Previous experience of pitching and bids is an advantage. Experience of working with an international company in the UAE is a distinct advantage.
• Only candidates who have previously worked for a law firm or other professional services firm in the UAE for a minimum 3 years will be considered. Candidates must also have experience of drafting legal documents and have excellent English skills.
• Training will be provided if required and this role has the potential to develop either in to a BDM or KAM position for the person that proves their ability.
