Job description / Role
This role is with a new client to Irwin & Dow and we are seeking a competent and successful Business Development Executive for a management organisation based in Dubai. The organisation is involved in sponsorship management within a fast paced and highly motivational sector and this role will support the Sponsorship Manager to obtain meetings and connect with potential clients in order to further develop sponsorship deals and endorsements on a global scale for both the management agency and the individuals that they assist.
As a Business Development Executive you should be a self-motivated individual with the ability to build rapport and quickly establish long lasting business relationships with whom you interact. You will be a fast thinker and have strong persuasive and negotiation skills in order to secure the meeting and therefore gain the opportunity to present proposals to the potential client, led by the Sponsorship Manager. In this role you will also be required to have strong market knowledge and your “finger on the pulse” providing research and insight into possible sponsorship potential and new business leads to your manager and the MD.
We are therefore seeking individuals with a business development or junior account management background and it is expected that you will have at least 1-2 years’ relevant experience. You will be an outgoing individual who can work in a fast paced environment, with tenacity, motivation and minimal supervision. It is essential that you are a fluent English speaker to native standard and those with a passion for health and fitness are also of particular interest to our client.
