Job description / Role
Our client is a multi-national law firm and house-hold name as a leading commercial law firm. They are currently searching for a Business Development Executive to join their Dubai office.
This is a true team role, collaborating with colleagues across the office and broader region.
This role would be ideal for a junior-intermediate BD professional looking to engage in all aspects of business development.
Working closely with the BD Manager, your daily responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating bid projects including drafting and reviewing content, ensuring brand and policy requirements are met, and actioning follow-up with clients;
- Maintaining up to date regional bid content;
- Collaborating with the BD Manager and fee earners on key client accounts, providing input on strategic planning and supporting regional teams with the potential to take ownership of regional BD accounts;
- Facilitate client feedback interviews and action relevant feedback;
- Gain and maintain knowledge of relevant marketing & BD products;
- Assist with allocating, preparing, and attending client events, including coordination with venues, diary management, and reporting;
- Liaise with fee earners to maintain awards and directory submissions records for the region;
- Maintain marketing material for the region on website and intranet and engage with the UK PR team to finalise regional press releases;
- Researching and reporting on projects and pursuits for fee earners and BDM review;
- Upskill knowledge of practice areas within the firm in order to effectively support their marketing.
Requirements
- Degree qualified in Marketing or a relevant discipline, with demonstrated experience of working in a fast-paced environment, ideally within the UAE and law firms;
- Strong English communication skills and excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships;
- Proven history of being dynamic, creative, and lateral-thinking;
- Team player with the ability to partner with all levels of staff to assist with strategy, planning and coordination, and projects;
- Computer literate with attention to detail and organised working style to meet deadlines;
- Strong administration skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and client management systems.
