Job description / Role
Our client is a local family group that specialises in Marine Services and supplies. They are seeking a Business Development Manager to manage new and existing clients
Based in Dubai, you will have proven experience in Marine Services or boat building.
Responsibilities:
* The Business Development Manager will provide a professional service to all customers, offering technical advice on the products available.
* Deal with customer queries via a variety of methods, ensuring they are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.
* Creating and working to sales and marketing strategies to grow and maintain order levels.
* Striving to achieve and exceed sales targets.
* Dealing with queries from new and existing customers, through a variety of methods.
* Working with the business unit team to produce quotes and proposals for your existing and new customers.
* Visiting customer sites to build relationships with customers and identify opportunities for further growth.
* Selling additional Group products and services to existing customers.
* Designing and delivering sales presentations to customers.
* Participating in exhibitions/events and additional marketing activities to promote MTM Group products and services.
* Market research; to 'cold calling' potential customers, creating leads and generating new sales.
* Producing sales report, projections and plans to management.
* Formulating supply agreements and memorandums of understanding with perspective customers.
* Actively get involved and contribute to the company marketing strategy and material to be used by the division and the group.
* Constantly delivering a professional image, in line with the corporate image.
* To ensure all work/tasks/procedures/documentation meet the requirements of company's policies & procedures.
* To ensure all work meets the requirements of company's Health & Safety systems & procedures.
Requirements
* The Business Development Manager will be an excellent communicator.
* Experience in Marine Services / Manufacturing and Production
* Experience of managing your own time, initiating sales targets & reporting on progress.
* Experience and ability of identifying new business opportunities and designing successful strategies to create new business and establishing supply agreements.
* A confident and assertive individual with customers, whilst ensuring excellent customer service skills are maintained.
* A pro-active approach to selling and seeking new business opportunities
