An award-winning music consultancy service is seeking a Business Development Manager for their Middle East operations. This person will be responsible for managing and growing the existing client base through exploring sales leads, writing proposals and approaching and winning new accounts.

The role
* Convert all new sales enquiries.
* Investigate, pinpoint and generate new business leads.
* Win new business leads. Hit sales targets.
* Gain meetings with potential new clients through both cold calls and warm leads.
* Write smart proposals, and put together slick, dazzling presentations that demonstrate what makes our service different and how we meet the needs of each individual business.
* Explain how the service works to new clients. In collaboration with the Regional Director you will discuss fees, contracts, hardware/technical requirements with them. Oversee the generation and execution of contracts. Brief our music and client services teams on new clients.
* Attend regular sales meetings. Liaise with the rest of the business development team to meet the company's growth strategy.
* Assist the business development team with the creation of marketing materials.

Requirements

* Educated to degree level in marketing, music or business related subject is preferable.
* At least 3 successful years in a sales and business development role.
* Knowledge of the business landscape within the UAE and wider Middle East. This also includes a firm grasp of the cultural sensitivities in the region.
* You will showcase high levels of trustworthiness and experience of success whilst working in a remote, field based environment.
* A motivated self-starter
* At ease with cold calling one moment, and jumping on hot leads the next.
* Client facing: experience of meeting and impressing clients at all levels. A switched on, engaging personality, who loves meeting and working with dynamic businesses.
* Plugged into the world of hotels, retail brands, bars, restaurants.
* An understanding of, and an affinity with their current clients.
* As much as you are a natural sales person, you are also a natural networker and negotiator.
* Successful track record of building on-going client relationships with key accounts.
* Understanding of branding and marketing principles.
* Firm grasp of the written word with slick turn of phrase and precise grammar.
* Slick presentational skills. Used to putting together great visual and verbal presentations.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Proven organizational skills
* Used to juggling multiple projects at once
* Luxury or creative industries background would be great. Music industry background would be a plus but not essential.
