Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager for an award-winning design consultancy in the Middle East that focuses on creative Architecture, Interior Design and Engineering Design.

You will be working closely with the Directors and the respective teams in order to lead the Business with pre-contract relationship building, bidding and winning of contracts.

You will be responsible for working with, mentoring, and monitoring Commercial Management resources effectively. This will include providing leadership support to Bid Coordinators, Document Controllers, Administrative and Finance Staff. Taking the initiative to find solutions for bidding and front end relationship challenges; while maintaining time, cost, and quality controls. The ability to provide a point of escalation and communication to the project stakeholders for all business development matters is crucial.

Responsible for performing day to day sales and marketing activities to fully represent and promote the company brand whilst maintaining relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities. You will be proactive and see potential challenges before they arise with a proven ability to negotiate and close deals.

Requirements

Ideally you will be a qualified Sales Manager, Construction Professional, or Engineer with ideally 10 years’ experience and expertise of working within Architectural / Design projects. Commercial Negotiation, Contract Administration and Management experience will be an advantage with expertise in reviewing and negotiating commercial contractual terms in accordance with technical industry standard contracts (FIDIC).
