Irwin & Dow are pleased to be working alongside one of our corporate clients based close to the DIFC in Dubai. Their core business involves implementing the set up and management of new companies, trusts and other financial structures to meet the specific personal or business needs of their clients. Typically, these needs would include tax planning, wealth protection, foreign property ownership and facilitating cross-border business.

They manage over 7,000 structures for a wide variety of clients worldwide and advise governments, publicly quoted companies, professional law and accountancy firms as well as individuals, expatriates, entrepreneurs, freelance consultants, private investors, or wealthy persons and their families.

The primary role of the Business Development Manager is to prospect for new clients by regularly networking to generate interest. Therefore the main duties will involve planning and delivering persuasive pitches that will successfully demonstrate the company’s value to potential clients including communicating new financial services and product developments. As part of the role you will also maintain existing relationships and develop them further to bring all prospective clients into your portfolio.

The ideal candidate will have a strategic approach to business development in order to have a continuous pipeline of business. You will be professional and tenacious with your follow up and have a background within the financial services industry and company set up within the UAE. As a BDM you will also contribute to the development of marketing literature and content, providing feedback to the senior management team and remain commercially aware in terms of both competitor activity and new products into the market.

Requirements

We are seeking a driven and highly motivated individual for this role, with someone who has acute attention to detail ensuring that all sales opportunities to the client are captured and explored.

The successful candidate will be expected to self-manage but also be part of a larger team of peers. A minimum of three years’ financial sales products experience within the UAE is required, and business consultancy exposure is a distinct advantage.

It is also essential that the successful candidate has experience in establishing onshore companies in the UAE and formation experience in general.

This is a corporate environment representing extremely HNWI and companies, therefore the strongest of candidates with an exceptional standard of the English language should apply.
