Business Development Manager
Salary: Up to AED 15,000 (based on experience) plus commission
Location: Dubai, UAE

Our client, a leader in business intelligence and solutions provider in businesses across the GCC and abroad.
With focus on various industries including Retail, Shopping Malls, Public Transport, Amusement parks, etc, using leading technology.

As a result of their expansion plans, we are seeking a highly talented and experience business generator to join the team.

Key Role - reporting to the CEO you will be accountable for growing profits through attracting new customers and by increasing the spend of existing customers. This role is one that is both challenging and also rewarding, giving the successful candidate an opportunity to really develop an interesting career in business strategy

Responsibilities

Identifying new sales leads.

• Identifies trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements, tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
• Locates or proposes potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities.
• Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
• Creates new opportunities by approaching companies within agreed verticals.

Pitching products and/or services.

• Involved in pitching and presenting at boardroom level. This could include presentations to Senior Team Members, requiring meticulous planning and proposal writing.
• Contacts clients to inform them about new developments with the company’s products.
• Close deals by negotiating by phone, email, and in person.

Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers

• Accountable for keeping healthy relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provides reports and feedback to upper management about what is and is not working.
• Develops sales follow-up activities.

Sales and selling

• Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met
• Training personnel and helping team members develop their skills

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with proven background in business development.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience within the UAE.
• Skilled at agreeing and closing deals with clients.
• Excellent organizational skills are essential as well as performance monitoring will be a requirement.
• Strong communication and IT fluency.
• Creative talents and the ability to solve tough problems.
• In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events.
• The ability to handle pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Possess strong research and strategic analysis skills.
• Must hold a full clean UAE driving licence.
• Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic would be an advantage.
