Business Development Manager

Job description / Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead growth within the heavy plant machinery hire sector, with a particular focus on excavator rentals.
The role will be responsible for expanding our client base in Dubai, generating immediate business opportunities, and building long-term partnerships across the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:
* Generate new business opportunities and drive revenue growth for excavator and heavy plant hire services.
* Leverage existing networks within the UAE construction sector to secure contracts and repeat business.
* Manage client relationships from initial engagement through to ongoing account management.
* Prepare and deliver tailored proposals, tenders, and presentations.
* Monitor market activity, competitor offerings, and industry developments to stay ahead of opportunities.
* Collaborate with operations teams to ensure machinery delivery and service levels meet client expectations.

* Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role within the UAE’s plant hire or construction machinery sector.
* Strong network of clients, ideally with connections in contractors, developers, and infrastructure projects.
* Proven ability to deliver immediate business from day one.
* Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
* Strong commercial awareness of the heavy machinery hire market, particularly excavators.
