As one of the core team members, work for long-term success in the whole global expansion of OceanBase. Join the entire journey from brainstorming to execution and then achieve results together with the team.
As the node in Middle East Asia, discover the market including the overseas Chinese related market and local market, and set up the go-to-market (GTM) strategy with the teams.
Set the correct targets with the manager according to the GTM strategy, including the sales quota and milestones, and then achieve them.
Take leadership and multifunctional responsibilities in the early stage and try to build the foundation for future growth of the local business and global expansion.
Collaborate closely with team members including solution architects, product development, and management teams to provide feedback on customers' requirements and to lead opportunity development.
Work closely with marketing and business development representative teams to drive demand generation activities and build the pipeline for global expansion with a focus on the named account list.
Co-sell with partners in your assigned territory to drive optimized conversion rates.
Responsibilities
- Contribute as a core team member to global expansion efforts from brainstorming through execution.
- Discover and analyze markets in Middle East Asia, including overseas Chinese and local markets.
- Develop and implement GTM strategies with team collaboration.
- Set and achieve sales targets and milestones in coordination with management.
- Lead multifunctional roles to establish a foundation for local and global business growth.
- Collaborate with solution architects, product development, and management to address customer needs and develop opportunities.
- Partner with marketing and business development teams to drive demand generation and pipeline building.
- Engage in co-selling activities with partners to maximize conversion rates.
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Passion and energy to thrive in a global, dynamic, disruptive, fast-paced, and energetic environment.
- 3+ years of global working experience with fluent bilingual proficiency in Mandarin and English. Experience studying in the US and Europe is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in enterprise, data, or cloud sales at an established technology company within data, infrastructure, or cloud sectors.
- Possess current relationships with relevant customers in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) region. Clients in Web3, fintech, banking, e-commerce, retail, logistics, gaming, and digital natives are preferred.
- Working knowledge of database and/or cloud computing fields.
- Proven track record engaging and influencing senior executives and familiarity with decision-making processes in enterprise customers.
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and cross-functional teams including direct and channel marketing, solution architect teams, product management, and account management teams.
