Business Development Manager - Bonds - Middle East
Our client is recruiting a Business Development Manager responsible for the sale of niche bonds in the Middle East market. A highly commercial, stand-alone and individual contributor role reporting to the Head of International Business Development based international. Dubai based role in a rapidly expanding international organisation with multiple business lines globally.
As the Middle East Bonds Business Development Manager reporting to the Head of New Business Development you will be responsible for:
• Building a portfolio of bonds both within and from Middle East
• Initiating and maintaining successful relationships with high level decision makers of the construction industry initially, to generate revenue and maximize profits
• Liaising between the bonds specialists and property and construction teams to manage technical and underwriting tasks
• Establishing successful relationships and distribution channels with brokers, clients and prospects
• Defining strategies and implementing marketing plans, sales budgets and revenue forecasts
• Meeting and interacting with surety bond retrocessionaires for renewals
Requirements
• Have extensive experience as a reinsurance specialist and an underwriter
• Bring a proven track record of success in business development and insurance sales
• Excellent networking skills and knowledge of key stakeholders in the industry
• Have extensive knowledge about the Bonds insurance market in the Middle East
• Have basic knowledge about accounting and finance principles
• Possess excellent customer relationship skills
