Job description / Role
The Senior Sales Manager will be accountable for global sales for genomic sequencing and proteomics services. This role combines hands-on sales management, business development, growing a sales team, developing commercial strategy and delivering a straightforward, competitive offering to global clients.

Description
* Be accountable for achieving annual sales objectives with effective forecasting/planning/execution across all channels (B2G, B2B and B2C)
* Grow a global, healthy and diverse commercial pipeline
* Draft/review / negotiate commercial proposals for tenders, RFPs, RFIs or other engagements in tight collaboration with commercial finance, SMEs, AI and Tech teams, plus other relevant support functions
* Establish and control prices by monitoring margins, competition, and short/long-term business opportunities.
* Manages, develops and grows team of Business Development Managers, Sales Executives, Regulatory, Distributors
* Support strategic planning and in-depth genomics and proteomics landscape mapping to identify critical global opportunities for partnerships and commercial collaborations
* Own relationships and attend global events to engage with key opinion leaders and promote the visibility of the unique Sequencing, Proteomics service offering.
* Support market research to proactively identify possible partners of interest in areas of priority

Requirements
* The successful candidate has experience in genomic commercial roles, preferably with global expertise in developing and selling genomic sequencing and other related omics services.
* The ideal candidate would have a current, global, technical and intensely commercial grasp of genomics and omics and a good understanding of related data, bioinformatics and infrastructure.
