Job description / Role
A leading sharia compliant investment house based in Dubai is looking for a Business Development Manager to join their team to drive and develop the Employee Saving Scheme product alongside their existing product offering. This role reports into the Chief Commercial Officer and will be responsible for managing a sales team.
The main job duties include:
- to develop the features and enhance the product offerings of the company to corporate clients, with particular focus on an employee savings scheme (ESP)
- Lead and drive the complete cycle of product development / enhancements of the current product offering to corporate clients, generate leads and opportunities, develop plans and strategies for business development, sell and market the product offering to increase ESP client acquisition.
- Seek market insights and drive innovative strategies to introduce new competitive products in the area of ESP, pensions and insurance.
- Be able to design, price and customise pension / retirement and saving products to cater to the clients needs.
- To launch and work on the automation of the product offering in order to enhance customer service, in collaboration with the IT team.
- Report and analyse sales trends, gaps and opportunity identification to be presented to the senior management.
- Achieve the sales targets assigned for the role.
Requirements
- Strong experience in B2B sales from a Banking Assurance / Insurance background with a focus on pensions / staff benefits / saving products.
- Good knowledge and understanding of UAE pensions and how they managed and the legalities around them.
- Strong commercial acumen
- Strong communications and presentation skills to drive business development and achieve sales targets.
