Our client, a multinational organisation specialising in the manufacture of IP Audio Visual solutions are currently looking to hire a Business Development Manager to focus on their IP Audio business line.

ROLE PURPOSE:

The Business Development Manager: IP Audio (Retail & Hospitality) has the responsibility of implementing the regional IP Audio strategy in the Retail and Hospitality segments.
As the Business Development Manager: IP Audio (Retail & Hospitality), you will be tasked with the responsibility of growing the organisations reach and influence within the Audio business eco-system right down to the End User uncovering new avenues to explore as well as drive and enhance the existing pipeline. Thus, ensuring that the organisation becomes top of mind as a solid option in the Audio / PA / Technology space.

The following areas will form a large part of your key responsibilities:
- Identify key application partners, integrators and end users who will ensure success
- Initiate and report end-customer business development efforts
- Follow up and report identified goals and KPIs for the segment
- Actively participate in the organisations' network of business development managers
- Develop new IP Audio solutions for both security and sales/marketing
- Owner of customer/market research and standardisation initiatives
- Manage organisations representation in key industry associations & lobbying forums in the region
- Educate the regional sales team, their accounts and end users in the organisations' IP Audio solutions and support the sales team with joint visits.

Requirements

Previous experience:
- Has a solid 2+ years’ experience in Audio / PA solutions as an ideal and driving business through this value chain, or a minimum of 4 years’ experience in complex solution selling within Technology Software
- Possesses experience having worked in a channel structure either from within a Vendor / Manufacturer of Audio / PA Systems / Distributor / Reseller of such solutions / Complex Software Solutions
- Has proven experience in meeting the requirements of retailer’s needs, including the hospitality industry thus demonstrating an understanding of the End Users’ language
- Has a basic, practical understanding of IP / Network which would be highly preferred
- Has specific experience within the UAE Region in Retail and Hospitality
- Has a working proficiency in Arabic
- Possesses a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
- Comes with a high degree of energy and self-motivation to drive and grow the pipeline through this channel business
- Is a strategic and long-term planner / thinker
