Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:
- To serve as a medium to ensure field force is hired, trained and retained. To manage sales delivery by ensuring adequate staff is in the system to meet planned goals.
- To micro-manage sales activities at the ground level, to help plan and accomplish minimum set goals for each executive.
- Manage sales and sales related activities for non-reporting teams in case of absence of the respective BDMs – once/ twice a week
- Handle customer complaints pertaining to other departments and co-ordinate with the relevant people to ensure as a bank, we commit to serve the customer promptly and professionally - once/ twice a week

Main Tasks and Responsibilities

Basic Discipline
- Ensure basic discipline is maintained through timely reporting to office.
- Ensure adherence to dress code and code of conduct

Sales Planning
- Set realistic and achievable targets for each team
- Ensure target is effectively managed by simplifying it at DSA level.
- Explain the incentive structure to the DSAs as a tool for motivation
- Set weekly targets to ensure better monitoring and controls
- List out focus companies for the month both in terms of payroll listing as well as TM listing so that all teams can capitalise on the outcomes
- Plan mass promotions at various areas to increase brand equity in the market for ADCB and achieve bulk customer acquisition
- Ensure each DSA carries with him enough literature on the product, its features and any other marketing support necessary

Training
- The entire sales team to be trained, retrained and refreshers that will ensure each DSA is confident and conversant with the product, the policy and the processes to provide better service to the customers

Weekly Sales Reviews
- Conduct weekly review meeting with the sales team to ensure there is no gap in planned v/s actual numbers set out for the week
- Take corrective action wherever there is a discrepancy in planned v/s actual delivery
- Discuss issues pertaining to the time period and resolve the same immediately
- Discuss best practices followed during the week by any particular DSA that would have a positive impact on business
- Draw up goals for the subsequent week
- Weekly meetings with credit to understand issues and review trends, draw up action plans wherever necessary

Compliance & Quality
- Ensure strict compliance on documentation provided by the executives meeting set policy norms.
- Bring in quality customers to the bank, which leads to quality references thus ensuring each case is profitable to the bank.
- Ensure clean and healthy sourcing without resorting fraudulent practices that may affect performance of the portfolio

Day to Day Activities
- Daily Checking of submissions to manage better approval rates
- Daily sales report checks to measure efforts and provide constructive feedback
- Routine market visits with each DSA to facilitate in-field training and orientation

Achieve targets on other products
- Ensure set targets on All-In-One accounts are achieved by every individual in the team, in the larger interests of the bank
- Ensure the team is motivated and mentally fighting-fit at all times by taking personal interest in their performances and helping them in terms of leads and opening up of companies for sourcing

Staff Management - Motivation & Morale
- Highlight good performances and set examples for others to follow
- Manage each executive’s leave schedules in a manner that does not come in the way of targets

Requirements

- Post Graduate in Management
- Masters, Business Administration
- Bachelors’ , Business Management
- 4.5 years in Sales experience
- Channel Sales exposure an added advantage experience
