Job description / Role
Charterhouse is looking for an experienced Business Development/Sales Manager to join our recruitment outsourcing team. This role is ideal for someone who has experience in achieving strategic growth initiatives, forging impactful partnerships and has strong relationships across the UAE.
• This role will be heavily geared towards identifying new business opportunities across the Middle East and emerging markets, devising successful sales strategies to target and capture business through both new and existing customers.
• A high level of business best practices across the region will be required to build long term trusted relationships and an appropriate network of contacts to help further develop the outsourcing business.
• This role will generate revenue by winning new business in the UAE and the wider GSS in line with the regional sales strategy.
• Whilst having autonomy for developing a robust pipeline and closing new business, the role will be supported by a close-knit team and will be able to leverage off an incredible existing client base.
• This role will work closely with the wider Charterhouse team and the HR & Onboarding team, who will work closely with the Business Development/Sales Manager to move business through the sales process, identifying needs and supporting added value related to recruitment, onboarding, aftersales care, etc.
• This role will also be involved in initiating first contact and building relationships with allocated RFP prospects to create and convert sales opportunities from first contact to RFP.
Requirements:
• The ideal candidate will be Degree educated with at least 4 years commercial experience focussed on sales within recruitment, events or similar transferable sales role, ideally with an international background and experience in the Middle East.
• The ability to analyse data and situations, providing challenge and recommendations to identify optimum solutions that bring value to clients and to the wider business.
• This role requires someone has excellent influencing and negotiating skills who is target driven and has the desire to learn and develop not only themselves but the wider business.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills in English are essential as is the ability to adhere to processes and systems that support new business and client service delivery.
