Job description / Role
We are looking for a proactive and results-driven Business Development Executive with a strong background in Metal trading (Metals Trading) to join our team. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building and maintaining client relationships, and driving growth in our trading sector. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of trading markets, exceptional sales skills, and the ability to develop strategies that enhance our market position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market research to identify new business opportunities, emerging trends, and potential clients within the trading industry. Analyze competitor activities and market conditions to inform strategy.
• Business Development: Develop and execute strategies to generate leads, acquire new clients, and expand market share. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects and convert them into successful trading relationships.
• Client Relationship Management: Establish and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their trading experience.
• Sales Strategy: Create and implement effective sales strategies and initiatives to achieve revenue targets. Develop and present proposals, negotiate contracts, and close deals in alignment with company objectives.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including trading, marketing, and finance, to ensure seamless service delivery and alignment of business development efforts with overall company goals.
• Market Positioning: Promote the company's trading services and products through various channels, including networking events, industry conferences, and digital platforms. Represent the company as a knowledgeable and credible industry leader.
• Reporting: Monitor and report on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends. Provide regular updates to senior management and suggest improvements based on data-driven insights.
• Customer Feedback: Gather and analyze client feedback to identify areas for improvement and contribute to the development of new trading solutions or enhancements.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. An advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or relevant certifications is advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales within the metal trading industry (Metals Trading). Proven track record of achieving sales targets and developing successful client relationships.
Skills:
• Strong understanding of trading markets and trading platforms and documentation.
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to close deals and drive revenue growth.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess market opportunities and client needs.
Salary:
AED
6,000 to 8,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
