Job description / Role
On behalf of our client a leading Dubai based oil and gas company we are looking to recruit a Business Process Specialist. Reporting to the Business Planning Team Lead you will be responsible for facilitating the sanction of projects as they progress through the opportunity development process ensuring that project standards are communicated and applied whilst maintaining a Business Project register capturing key metrics for reporting as opportunities are progressed, generate and update ODP's to match business requirements, provide the business documented processes and requirements for all steps of ODP's, support business process mapping, improvements, and process re-engineering within the company, create and documents strategies and develop, execute standards, policies, methods and procedures for commercial, engineering, finance, logistics and operations departments
Requirements
The successful candidate must be degree educated preferably in technology, have 5 years post qualification experience, upstream knowledge will be a advantage but other project based industries would also be considered ( Petrochemicals, construction, banking) experience of planning and project controls is essential together with knowledge of engineering processes and controls, knowledge of setting up business process mapping and business process re-engineering and have the ability to compile and write business process procedures and manuals
