Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

We are looking for an experienced and a passionate Butler to work for Ambassador of Japan at the residence. In this role, you will be responsible for providing personalised and customised service to Ambassador, his/her family members, and whoever stay in his/her residence, including the guests who, visit the VVIP, ensuring that things are organised well, and daily activities in the residence runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with maids in ensuring the residence is kept clean, tidy, and organised
- Welcome VIP/VVIP guests in professional manner upon arrival and conduct a general orientation with maids of their assignment
- Help in any events/official lunch and dinner at the residence
- Coordinate with maids and chef about tasks in the residence
- Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation with Ambassador and his/her family
- Ensure all communication is carried clearly amongst Ambassador and his/her family, maids, chef and security guards
- Maintain appearance, discipline and efficiency at all times
- Ensure the upkeep of all resident rooms including air-conditioning, water supply/sewage and reports any maintenance faults/anything abnormal, to Ambassador(Administrative office) immediately
- Respect Ambassador, his/her family, and his/her guest’s privacy and does not discuss any private information with anybody neither disclose any confidential information

Requirements

- Previous experience at a VIP/VVIP residence or in a luxury hotel preferable
- Good communication and problem-solving skills, attention to details, team player
- Writing/Reading literacy in English
- Used to work in pressurised and demanding work environment
- Strong attention to detail, highly responsible, organised and reliable
- Understanding and ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
- Basic computer skill Excel, Word preferable

Starting time of work: Sometime in March or early April, 2023 (Expected date)
