Employment: Full Time

• Establish and maintain relations with suppliers
• Identity new opportunities and anticipate price developments
• Negotiate effectively and fairly in terms of product quality, volume, delivery and value with suppliers.
• Develop / sets KPI’s for vendors in line with overall company or business strategy
• Maintain strong working relationships with strategic and long-term suppliers and customers to assure quality, fulfilment, value and delivery targets are met.
• Update and maintain vendor contact file and action new listing
• Keep up to date on customer research, trends and behaviors
• Communicate effectively with demand planning and other relevant departments
• Analyzing weekly and monthly reports
• Drive continuous improvement, best value and quality improvements within the team and department.
• Necessary administration duties associated with the role.
• Ad-hoc duties as requested by the buying team and Management.

Requirements

• Experience in the FMCG industry
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
• Experience in sales or purchase department
• demonstrate the ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively.
• have a good command of the English language. A good command of the Arabic language is a plus.
