Reporting To: General Procurement / KAM for Middle East
Location: Dubai
Job Duration: 12 Months

Primary Responsibilities:

Support General Procurement Local Representative
• Support the Regional Manager in developing the General Procurement function in the Region, in line with generic rules, processes and values of the General Procurement function.
• Contribute to proactive management of the relationship with internal business partners to ensure target level of customer satisfaction for the Region/Divisions.
• Support the Regional Manager in driving and monitoring change management, to ensure a successful implementation of General Procurement in the region and ensure the buy-in of the internal stakeholders.
• Ensure regular two-way communication with key functional and local customers on General Procurement needs, expectations and initiatives.
• Support requestors through awareness sessions (General Procurement process explanations…).

Operations
• Ensures operations are effective and efficient. PO’s are issued according to the quality, time and operating cost expected by the business and are compliant to GP rules
• Support requestors through awareness sessions (General Procurement process explanations…).
• Support for the supplier creations
• Follow up with the POs and Finance topics related
• Support on the daily procurement requests
• Launch Call for Tender
• Negotiate with suppliers

Requirements:

Qualified Experience / Skills / Training:

Education:
• Required: Bachelor degree
• Preferred : Qualification in Procurement, Supply Chain Management

Experience:
• Required: previous experience in the procurement field

Knowledge, Skills, Demonstrated Capabilities:
• Strong ability to communicate and convince.
• Negotiations skills
• Team player and customer focus
• Ability to work with remote teams
• Good organization skills

Communication Skills (Spoken, Written, Influencing, Proficiency in Other Languages):
• Demonstrated effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Fluency in English both written and verbal is required.

Technical Systems Proficiency:
• SAP, Microsoft Office applications
