Buyer - French Speaking

Job description / Role

• Responsible for Tactical purchasing process ( including spot buys)
• PO processing and confirmations
• Escalation point for advanced customer queries
• Initiates new vendor set-up requests.
• Transmits POs to suppliers and manages negative order confirmation.
• Manages goods/services claims.
• Amends or closes Purchase Orders.
• Files documents according to procedures for audit purposes.
• Proactively shares knowledge and best practices.
• Entrepreneurial spirit, continuously seeks out ways to reduce costs.
• Team to address/attend calls from plants/sourcing specialist/warehouse people. Also in case of urgent requisitions calls up vendor.

Requirements

• French speaker
• Bachelors Degree
• Strong negotiating skills
• Impeccable attention to detail
• Ability to work well with a team
• MS Office / SAP skills
