Buyer - Non-Food / Indirect

Job description / Role

The buyer within non-food purchasing for our leading food service business based here in Dubai is responsible for but not limited:
• Purchasing all non-food items (CAPEX, utensils, industrial kitch items, packaging)
• Negotiating best price for non-food items
• Manage supplier relationship
• Vendor management and cost analysis
• Analysing supplier quality
• Recommending new supplier offering better value for money

Requirements

You will not be considered for the buyer (non-food) position if you do not have the following experience:
• Have managed an annual spend for non-food items ideally within food service or FMCG
• MUST have some UAE experience within non-food buying
• Must be degree educated in procurement, ideally CIPS qualified
• AT LEAST 2-3 years in non-food purchasing
