Job description / Role
On behalf of our client a leading Dubai based E Commerce retail site we are seeking a season and motivated buyer to join the business development department. Reporting to the VP you will be responsible for independently managing respective buying budget per brand, report sales and purchase statistics, create exclusive agreements with suppliers, attend trade fairs, buying trips to keep abreast of market trends, develop and maintain sourcing relationships with vendors, select, oversee and negotiate merchandise orders for various product categories, implement and manage pricing strategies, promotional ideas, events and inventory control management and maintain vendor relationships
Requirements
The successful candidate must be degree educated and have consistent buying experience in a high volume face paced retail environment and strong relationships with regional product suppliers. Only candidates with the above experience will be considered and contacted.
