CAD Manager (Joinery)

Job description / Role

With a global reputation for innovation in design manufacturing and project delivery, this leading interior fit company urgently requires a CAD/ Setting Out Manager to join their ever expanding and evolving business.

As the CAD Manager, you will be responsible for managing a team of CAD engineers and will have a very strong background in joinery/ shop fitting ect.

You should ideally come from a shop fitting/ joinery background and be familiar with the production of bespoke joinery components working very closely with the production and manufacturing teams.

Duties will include:
- Generate, modify and update designs utilising CAD packages
- Generate Bill of Quantities, Materials and Schedules
- Coordinate subcontractor designs
- Assist with and perform site surveys
- Assist project and bid managers where require
- Support the Chief Engineer with developing and implementing the companies’ Engineering Strategy

Requirements

- Continued professional development on the latest technology and techniques
- Excellent English - 10 years’ experience in Joinery manufacturing/ production
- Previous experience working for a fit out contractor
- Expert in the use of multiple CAD design tools
- Superior computer skills
