Capital Projects - Financial Advisory - Associate

Deloitte's Financial Advisory Services team in the Middle East provides expert advice to a diverse range of clients in the areas of Capital Projects Advisory, M&A advisory, due diligence, forensics and valuations.

The Capital Projects advisory practice is composed of professionals with practical industry experience in nearly every aspect of the capital construction process, and with advanced degrees in engineering, architecture, business, accounting and law.

We have assisted our clients with a broad range of integrated services in varied professional disciplines that touch upon almost every aspect of the capital construction process. To support this team we are continuing to expand our group of dedicated Capital projects team and are looking to recruit one or more staff at business analyst or associate level.

Requirements

- A degree in engineering or a professional construction related qualification either in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management preferred
- 1 to 4 years of experience on project delivery, project controls, cost management, cost verification, change / variation management and / or claims management
- Reasonable understanding of construction contracts
- Solid understanding of construction cost assessments, project scheduling and risk analysis preferred
- Extensive working experience with Microsoft Office applications (word, excel, PowerPoint, Visio, project)
- Strong analytical skills
- Professional communication and listening skills with the ability to interact effectively with varying levels of management
- Ability to prepare and present oral and written reports
- Willing to relocate to Dubai, UAE and be willing to travel within the GCC for long periods of time
