Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Identify, developed and secure new local workload through existing or new Client relationships
- Deliver and oversee all work related to proposal preparation, assignments planning, quality assurance, budgeting, practice development, and business planning for the CP team in Abu Dhabi.
- Interface with Clients' management and personnel and managing Client relationships and expectations as well as developing
- Supervising an advisory team.
- Assisting in hiring, training and developing staff.
- Selling advisory services both internally or directly to clients.
- Providing expertise on cross functional issues including strategy, planning, and industry best practices.
- Serving a variety of clients within multiple industries.
- Be responsible for his / her own office P&L and leadership / management
- Ability to develop a commercially viable business with sustainable growth

Requirements

- Have a minimum of 10 years direct and related construction industry experience in the planning, delivery and / or operation of major capital projects.
- Be RICS, APM, CIOB or equivalent qualified with a recognised degree.
- Have wide knowledge in the consulting functional areas of business planning, concept development, feasibility studies and operational improvement.
- Have wide knowledge of the regional markets, trends, industry challenges and opportunities faced by Client developing / delivering projects across the MENA region and in particular Abu Dhabi.
- Demonstrate a strong, existing network of local contacts to be able develop the Deloitte brand and become a visible Ambassador for the Firm in Abu Dhabi.
- Coming from a strong Consulting / Advisory Business
- Experienced in financial management; organizational structures and functions; and operating programs, and policies.
- Have strong Commercial / Quantity Surveying skills / Project Management skills with demonstrable experience in project feasibility, procurement, controls, management into final account disputes and claims
- Ability to apply knowledge of all of the above to deliver sustainable and achievable solutions to Clients underpinned by professional service excellence.
- Have strong interpersonal skills able to convince, recommend and guide Client decision making.
- Be a ‘self-starter’ able to work under the minimum of supervision to develop, deliver and grow business to Clients internally and externally.
- Have strong soft skills to develop, convert and retain Client relationships, growth team respect, follow-ship and growth.
- Proficiency in English and preferably Arabic (written and spoken)
- Willing to work hours as needed to meet Client deadlines and firm needs.
- Good understanding of business dynamics and operations.
- Strong proficiency in basic PC applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) with a general understanding of data analysis techniques.
- Ability to think strategically and assist in the organization and management of a multi-disciplinary team; ability to sell additional services to Clients.
- Full mobility to travel as requested.
- Ambitious to develop own career towards Director
- Residing in Abu Dhabi
