Cashier

Job description / Role

Responsible for invoicing customers and administering the cash registry.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Greets customers and handle phone inquiries and direct calls to concerned parties
- Scans products and collects payments
- Handles cash, credit or check transactions with customers
- Issues receipts and process refunds as per company policy
- Bags items carefully and properly
- Tallies money in cash register by the beginning and end of each day and reviews against issued receipts
- Cross-sells products and encourages customers to purchase complementary items
- Records sales transactions on a sales system
- Prepares daily and monthly reports for the direct manager in order to track sales
- Assists in stocking shelves in the showroom and ensures barcode labels are correctly added
- Maintains cleanliness of showroom and display shelves at all times
- Opens up and shuts down showroom

- Respects all of the company’s internal rules, policies and procedures
- Performs other duties in line with the scope of work and as assigned by the direct manager
- Sets a good example regarding punctuality, hygiene, attendance, attitude and professional appearance to reflect a good image of the company

Salary:
AED 3,000 to 3,500 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
