At Etihad, we're always looking for talented people to join our Etihad family, and right now, we're actively recruiting Qualified Technicians for our Technical Operations team. The technician is required to perform and certify aircraft maintenance tasks as per operational requirements to timely identify and rectify defects.

In January 2023, our Talent Acquisition and Technical Ops team will be in India to meet with potential candidates for current and future openings.

Accountabilities

- Ensure maintenance is performed at the highest level in accordance with relevant technical Data and in that respect keeps him/herself updated on current and new Technical and Quality Notices issued also general/technical information.
- Ensure maximum attention is given to on-time performance, by assuring that all materials, tooling and equipment along with associated documentation is prepared in advance to the task in hand
- Inform and consult with LAE as required to enable LAE to maintain a complete overview of Aircraft
- Maintain a FOD free working area and clean up bay area before and after work
- Develop oneself and increase Aircraft knowledge with ultimate goal for further career development
- Accept appropriate training that will enable a more effective contribution
- Proactively participate in all Health and Safety matters
- Promote a reporting culture that aligns with the company's ethos
- Ensure that all unused serviceable and unserviceable items are returned to stores with the correct label attached
- Ensure any tooling or equipment used is duly cleaned and returned in serviceable condition, or clearly labeled if defective

Requirements

Education & Experience

- Valid aircraft maintenance license (ICAOII license preferably with one EY Type acceptable for conversion as GCAA CAR-66. or Minimum Basic EASA66 B1 or GCAA CAT A). Formal aircraft apprenticeship or equivalent.
- Minimum 3-5 years Line/Light Maintenance Environment.
