Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Key responsibilities:

• Defining growth strategies for different product categories in the GCC countries to drive profit and top line revenue.
• Ensuring good business health of your categories by focusing on the right fundamentals of a marketplace (right sellers, right assortment, pricing etc.)
• Leading contract negotiation and closing for key accounts within your categories.
• Working closely with the commercial/brands team across the following functions: Brand Strategic Partnership, Planning, Retail Buying, Vendor Acquisition/Incubation, Seasonal Campaign Management and Content.
• Owning the commercial plan for the business for different categories across the vertical using data to drive decisions.
• Working with the commercial planners to send weekly/monthly reports to analyse the performance of different categories and action plan for each category.
• Ensuring good business health by focusing on the right fundamentals of a marketplace (right sellers, right assortment, pricing etc.).
• Ensuring smooth execution and excellent planning of seasonal campaigns.

Salary:
AED 20,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the capability to deal with people at a broad range of levels.
• Rich experience in Commercial and Business Development.
• Proven track record in commercial deals.
• Strong business acumen and negotiation skills.
• Sound financial management knowledge and analytical skills.
• Structured and data driven.
• Excellent organisational, time management and planning skills.
• The ability to think conceptually while managing the detail.
