Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• The Category Manager/ Purchaser will be responsible in the managing of the category assortment, budget, contract, promotion, profitability and planogram
• Demonstrates strategic leadership by a thorough understanding of key trends and value drivers of the business, and consistent prioritization of focus and efforts. Communicates clear, compelling stories that motivate and inspire others. Develops a clear roadmap to achieve strategic objectives and actively supports teams to ensure delivery. Enables change through personal ownership and a constant drive to improve
• Roles models and coaches others on making decisions effectively based on facts, context, and risks. Acts with urgency through proactively involving self and others. Fosters responsibility and accountability by role-modelling ownership.
• Is able to effectively anticipate customer needs through deep understanding of customers’ expectations. Requirements

• Bachelor degree Business Administration, Economics, Marketing or equivalent.
• English (Full professional proficiency - Required), Arabic (Limited working proficiency - Preferred). Country Language where applicable.
• 3+ years Retail experience.
• Minimum 1 year as Supervisor over a section of a department.
• Good communication skills,

Computer proficiency:
MS Office, Negotiation skills, and category management knowledge required.
