Role Purpose

As a Category Officer (Onboard Product Category), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and reliable execution of all processes and systems related to sourcing execution and contract administration. This role is pivotal in maintaining compliance with Etihad's governance, policy, and compliance requirements.

Accountabilities

• Perform support to Category Managers for sourcing execution activities through the full execution lifecycle, e.g., requirements definition, RFI/RFP, award, contracts and related activities, using good practices, e.g., auctions where appropriate.
• Perform/support tactical and low-value procurement, and set up and use of self-service channels; sourcing via P-Cards and managed catalogues, guided buying from master service agreements, responsible for the process, governance and systems for these channels in order to reduce effort, ensure compliance and improve service to end users.
• Perform the delivery of the 'end to end' procurement operations, administration and support, ensuring alignment with PSM policies, process and governance, including contract administration and document management, ensuring correct templates are used and Ariba functionality and reporting is executed correctly.
• Perform efficient, timely and reliable purchase requisition (PR) conversion to purchase orders (PO).
• Perform post contract administration, including contract consumption tracking and reporting, and where appropriate capturing contract/supplier performance for use by insights and category managers.
• Liaise with accounts payable to address any related payment issues.

Education & Experience

• Diploma level qualification.
• Awareness and understanding of relevant aviation and/or indirect categories.
• Minimum 3 years procurement operations and sourcing experience preferred.
• Experience in P2P and use of tools such as SAP and Ariba preferred.
