Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Monitor trends in the natural/speciality foods industry and in our local market.
- Conduct periodic price and product mix surveys of competitors.
- Forecast, plan, and ensure volume order placement and best quality options for regular and seasonal supply.
- Conduct product assortment review and analysis and establish core sets.
- Provide outstanding customer service, readily communicate product information to customers, and impact sales in a positive manner resulting in continued, consistent growth
- Creates yearly category business plan based on detailed analysis of previous results and market trends.
- Meets or exceeds projected sales and profit contribution.
- Creates a detailed pricing strategy by zone by category and maintains approach throughout the year.
- Creates and implements a promotional calendar by major category, which supports division merchandising strategy. Tracks results at end of each promotion in terms of sales, profit and share growth or contribution.
- Meets with vendors on a consistent basis for deal negotiation and business updates.
- Works closely with procurement function. Communicate category and promotional plans to ensure desired service levels and optimum inventory position achieved.
- Attends key vendor planning meetings.
- Works in conjunction with others in department, across the division, and with corporate merchandising to facilitate implementation of programs.

Salary:
AED 10,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Passionate individual with solid experience in the seafood industry with HORECA business relationships
- Must have min 5 years of experience in the seafood industry
- Strong planning and organizing skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent interpersonal skills to develop and maintain effective business relationships within and outside the company.
- Strategy development skills
- Relationship management skills
- Skilled in Category Business Planning.
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills and abilities.
- Understanding of procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
