Catering Development Chef

A leading multinational restaurant franchise business is currently seeking a creative and passionate Catering Development Chef, who would be mainly responsible for creating new catering recipes for the brand.

We believe that this is an exciting proposal for the right person - someone who is innovative and dedicated in making outstanding recipes, who thrives on providing complete gastronomical satisfaction to customers.

As a Catering Development Chef, you will be responsible for:
- Developing new catering recipes and menu ideas
- Understanding and fully satisfying the requirements of potential catering clients
- Managing cost within the catering department
- Ensuring stores are running smoothly and efficiently and head chefs meet the highest of standards
- Working closely with the procurement team in building supplier relationships and maintaining a quality source of raw materials
- Representing the business in all relevant catering and events

Requirements

Our client requires a manager with a dynamic personality but at the same time possesses the following qualities:

- 2-3 years of strong head or executive sous chef experience ideally within a leading catering business in the UAE
- People and customer management skills
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of the highest food & safety standards
- Catering management qualification or equivalent from a Western institution
