Employment: Full Time

Our client, a global corporate and investment banking institute is looking to add to their team a DMLRO and CDD specialist.

Client Details
Our client is an international bank operating within the corporate and investment banking space.

Description
* To and conduct reviews of CDD files which are escalated from the FCMO or Front Office Departments;
* To ensure compliance with the requirements of the UAE Central Bank, the DFSA, the Dubai International Financial Centre and other relevant laws and directives;
* To ensure any CDD-AML matters are resolved appropriately;
* To provide clear and professional guidance when a customer relationship may need to be exited or terminated on financial crime grounds;
* To develop the CDD-AML policies and associated documents;
* Assist the MLRO in reviewing and implementing recommendations from external or internal audits, the DFSA or UAE Central Bank;
* To assist in the preparation of the MLRO's report;

Requirements

* Will have at least 8 years' experience within a similar role;
* Will have a thorough understanding of the relevant areas of UAE Federal Law, UAE Central Bank the DFSA requirements;
* Must have prior management experience;
* Will have a good understanding of wider financial crime and experience dealing with high risk files and reviews;
* Be extremely hands-on, detail oriented, with strong problem solving, project management and risk analysis skills;
* Excellent written and spoken communication skills in English;
* Will be able to work autonomously, and as part of a team;
