Job description / Role
Job Responsibilities:
• Monitoring daily market and informing traders/clients with regards of its movement and activities
• Coordination of monthly lifting schedules with clients/traders
• Negotiations of rates and terms & conditions with shipowners and brokers
• Handling pre-fixture matters including coordination on technical clearance with vessel’s owners and cargo/trading operator
• Preparation of CP agreements on behalf of client
• Voyage P&L Calculations, voyage creation/input in respective software
• Communicating HSE requirements to relevant parties
Requirements
Required Skills:
• Product and market knowledge
• Familiarity with chartering Deep Sea and Specialized Tankers and Worldscale Market/Terms & Conditions
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, and/or flexibility with shipping software (IMOS)
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Decision making
• Excellent Presentation, Communication & Negotiation skills
• Good planning & organizing skills
• Fluency in English
Required Experience:
• At least 3 years’ experience in chartering of oil and chemical tankers
