Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Order all consumable products, 96 hours in advance
• Check with chef any unusual requirements for basic products, i.e. Imported products
• Evaluate market lists before ordering
• Order on market list and cross check with chef
• Inspect delivery for correct temperatures, quality and correct count (weight) etc.
• Re-pack in correct containers
• Ensure correct and strict storage procedures
• Produce brand product to list requirement
• Ensure correct net weight count, packaging, correct production date and end date are tugged
• Ensure proper products are reduced to holding temperatures
• Check all equipment for defect and ready for production the following day

Requirements

• Open to ANY nationals
• Male, 50 years old and below
• Diploma or Highschool certificate
• Minimum of 3 years of UAE experience preferably in a 5-star hotel
• Organized and capable of multi-tasking with attention to details
• Knowledgeable in hygiene and safety standards and proper use of equipment
• Thorough understanding of quality control points in the entire food production cycle
• Ability to work in high-temperature conditions (up to 100 degrees) for extended periods of time
• Ability to stand and exert well-paced mobility for the duration of a scheduled shift
• Good communication skills
