Chef - Italian Cuisine
Salary: up to AED 15,000 based on experience
Location: Dubai
Our Client, originating from Italy and establishing their operations in the early seventies, has expanded into the UAE servicing clients across diverse Food and Beverage offerings
Producing thousands of meals per day, catering to a variety of clients within Educational institutions, Hospitals, Corporate events, Parties, Health and Fitness Facilities etc.
As part of their brand expansion, our client is introducing an international product soon into Dubai Parks and Resorts.
A specialist in authentic traditional Italian Pizza and Pasta range.
We are seeking an Italian cuisine chef with specialty, in traditional Italian pasta preparation and presentation.
Key responsibilities of the role are as follows:
• Prepare traditional pasta menus and dishes
• Introduce pricing and quality assurance within the Kitchen
• Negotiate with suppliers on all product ingredients and equipment
• Manage the cooks, preparation staff and all front of house staff within the outlet
• Live cooking preparation in front of guests
• Ensure staff are well trained and knowledgeable of food preparation and presentation
• Ensure high standards of Hygiene and safety are maintained
Requirements
• Minimum of 5 years post graduate experience within Italian cuisine food preparation
• Experience in Traditional Italian Pasta preparation is essential. The way “Mama” used to prepare
• Experience with the UAE market is essential
• Excellent time management skills
• Good negotiation and communication skills
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Testing food preparation skills prior to selection will be required
