Job description / Role
• To monitor, control and supervise overall plant chemistry.
• To efficiently carry out the operation of the laboratory during the duty by carrying out all regular tests on samples drawn at regular intervals from fuel, water, steam, air, effluents and chemicals; advise the Shift Supervisor/Engineer of the CCGT plant, for modifications in chemical dosing as per test results; record and maintain test data.
• To support the senior staff to monitor, control and maintain the Power Plant systems within specification by sampling, analysing, and controlling Plant chemistry.
• To work in Chemical laboratory, water treatment plant, Sewage treatment plant and require to do daily routine checks to plant boilers.
• To perform routine chemical analyses, compares these with standards, prepares reports and performs or advises on chemical dosing.
Requirements
Education:
• Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
• 3 Year-Diploma in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
Experience:
• 2-3 years for Degree holder of Power Plant Chemistry operational experience.
• 3-4 years for Diploma holder of Power Plant Chemistry operational experience.
