Job description / Role

This opportunity is with a large Trading company based in Dubai, UAE.

As a Chief Accountant

• You are responsible to drive the company’s financial planning, perform risk management by analyzing the organization’s liabilities and investments and decide on investment strategies by considering cash and liquidity risks.
• You will ensure that cash flow is appropriate for the organization’s operations and supervise all finance personnel (controllers, treasurers etc.)
• You will be overseeing the management and coordination of all fiscal reporting activities for the organization including: organizational revenue/expense and balance sheet reports, reports to funding agencies, development and monitoring of organizational and contract/grant budgets.
• You will effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner
• Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained

Requirements

• To be successful you would ideally possess 10-15+ Years’ of financial and management experience with the day-to-day financial operations of an organization of which at least six years in a senior management role within the trading industry.
• A Degree in Chartered Accountancy or equivalent is essential with a track record as a strong business partner with the ability to drive strategy and growth.
• Excellent Strategic management, Creativity, Time Management, Project Management, Ability to multi- task and Strong Leadership Management skills.
