Position Title: Chief Accountant
Employment Type: Full Time
Salary: up to 9K AED all-inclusive depending on experience and qualifications
Job Location: Dubai, UAE

About the Client:
A Dubai based stand alone café restaurant, with multiple branches in UAE and KSA

Job Description:
• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and accounts payable and receivable; and VAT Filing and ensure compliance with laws and regulations.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Analyse financial data to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
• Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and accounting standards.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial data, including inventory management and cost of goods sold.

Requirements

Qualifications:
• Open to Asian nationals
• 25 to 38 years old
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
• At least 5 years’ experience in accounting or financial management, preferably in the restaurant industry
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP
• Proficiency with ERP i.e., Odoo Enterprise and Microsoft Office Suite
• ACCA/CA/CPA designation is preferred
