Job description / Role
• Accounting Leadership
• Responsibility for day to day finance and accounts operations
• Review & approval of payment vouchers & journal entries
• Cash flow forecasting, budgeting and working closely with the operations and project teams in analysing margins, variances and cost analysis
• Responsibility for all regulatory and statutory compliance and reporting for the legal entities within the region
• Leading the month end and year end closing processes
• Coordination of the internal and external audit
• Driving consistency and compliance with global financial data quality requirements
• Managing the Regional Accounts Payable team
• Manage, support, coach and develop members of the team
• Management of assets, i.e., determination of value and benefits of the project
• Management of leasing for buildings and sales for stock
Requirements
• Should have 6+ years of experience in accounting
• Must be from the Real Estate industry
• Has to be a Native Arabic Speaker
• Must have experience in group accounting and consolidation
• Must have experience in budget and forecast preparations
• Must have experience in implementing group finance processes, procedures and policies
• Must have experience in asset management and leasing
• Should be entrepreneurial in nature with strong negotiating skills
