Chief Architect

Job description / Role

We are recruiting a Chief Architect on behalf of a leading UAE headquartered organisation who are recognised as a leader within their industry. This is an excellent opportunity to join a once in a generation project and have a significant hand in shaping a strong brand.
 
• Applications are sought from those with 10+ years of experience who will provide hands-on architecture leadership, guidance and mentoring to the different technical teams within the Group, be a close collaborator and trusted advisor to the VP of Architecture, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, robust and scalable solutions.
• Be a key member of the Architecture Kernel team that drives the technology vision and strategy for the Group.

Requirements

• Proven experience in defining and maintaining technology strategy and implementing target/transition state architectures for the aviation/ground operations, catering and travel domain
• Strong expertise in the development and implementation of end to end architecture for mission critical enterprise platforms/applications in the airport and ground handling areas, specifically for areas such as cargo & baggage handling, turn around management, load control, ramp & technical services, catering ground operations and travel B2B, B2C
• Awareness of new trends in the airport and ground handling domain and experience in the adoption of technology solutions like cargo community marketplace, airport information architectures, ground handling data model and data exchange programs in collaboration with other stakeholders like airports, ground handling community and solution providers
• Proven track record in achieving technology standardisation and rationalisation, reduction in technical debts & complexity, breaking silos and attaining higher efficiency, strategic differentiation and faster time to market
• Should demonstrate strong leadership skills to enable and lead a multi-cultural team of professionals applying servant leadership principles
