Job description / Role
Job Summary
Perform professional mobility management of first/last miles and short trips planning tasks on the strategic level (governance, high level plans, monitoring) to ensure integration of all modes of transport.
Accountabilities
• Create comprehensive framework for mobility management of trips and implement framework.
• Ensure that mobility management policies and processes are implemented
• Follow upon the implementation of the technical plans that relate to mobility management
• Devise a follow up mechanism/ process and spearhead its implementation.
• Monitor mobility management KPIs that are being measured and devise a follow up mechanism
• Support as needed in the urban mobility innovation index, including the enhancement of the index
• Analyze the results and issues raised that monitor the implementation of mobility man plans
• Conduct international benchmarking and studies related to transportation planning issues.
• Develop and present solutions as needed to enhance and benefit mobility management
• Prepare and present technical information and reports to a variety of audiences;
Requirements
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Transportation planning, urban design or urban planning from a recognized university.
Additional Skills
• Minimum 7 years relevant experience in multimodal transportation planning and urban design.
• Knowhow of the emerging modes of mobility for first/last mile and the different urban design plans.
• Ability to coordinate with different stakeholder and solve unforeseen issues with them.
• Fluent in Arabic and English desirable (reading, writing, and speaking.)
• Preparation and presentation of thematic maps
• Proficiency in using different presentation and mapping software.
• Excellent knowledge in conducting and reviewing different types of mobility management
