Chief Laboratory Technologist

Job description / Role

Group42 are looking to hire a Chief Lab Technologist for our Covid Response Lab in Masdar City.

Candidates will be responsible for overseeing the end to end Sample Management process. Must have experience in all stages of Sample Collection, Extraction & Reporting.

Sample Preparation:

- Receiving and treating the test samples in the lab according to the SOP of the lab, including the sample receiving, information input, sample data sorting and treatment.

Assay:

- Complete the detection task and other works arranged by the test manager and sending the detection report on time
- Executing the disinfection, fire safety and bio-safety works etc.

Requirements

- Candidates must be either a Laboratory Supervisor or Lab Manager
- Must have experience managing a team of MLTs
- Good communication skills
- Experience working in a Medical Laboratory
- Medical laboratory science/ microbiology/ immunology or equivalent sub-specialty
- College or higher degree
