Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Provide scientific advice to high level stakeholders using scientific research and analysis. Advise on policy drafting with relation to emerging technologies and scientific advancements and explain complex concepts in a simple manner.

Description

* Evaluate the advancements in technology and identify how these advancements can be used internally and externally.
* Provide oversight and leadership of multiple projects across a large, complex environment.
* Lead the ROI review and prioritisation of large volumes of scientific projects and work with peers to determine the best advancements to allocate resources for further study and research.
* Collaborate with national and international research centres to build robust, future-proof policy.

Requirements

* At least 15 years working with international, recognised research centres or think tanks across multiple geographic regions PLUS experience working within large, complex environments, with a major input on policy formation
* Strong stakeholder management experience and ability to manage multiple workstreams
* Master's degree is a must and a PhD in a relevant discipline is preferred.
