Chief Technology Advisor (AI)

Job description / Role

You will be responsible for guiding and shaping the strategic direction of large scale GenAI initiatives. This is a senior technology leadership role where you will work closely with an executive team and engineering leaders to define, execute, and scale platform builds.

Description

* Lead the technical vision and strategy for AI (GenAI) platform development.
* Build, mentor, and lead a team of engineers and technical leaders, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
* Provide high-level advisory on AI technologies, architectures, and platforms to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
* Oversee the end-to-end development lifecycle of large scale customer facing platforms, ensuring successful deployment and scalability.
* Collaborate with product, engineering, and business teams to align technical capabilities with strategic goals and market needs.
* Advise on cutting-edge trends and technologies, bringing in innovative ideas and solutions to propel product development.
* Ensure the technical roadmap is aligned with business objectives and market demands, while maintaining agility and scalability.
* Leverage your expertise to build and deliver AI solutions that have real-world impact in industries ranging from healthcare, finance, and beyond.
* Provide thought leadership both internally and externally, establishing the entity as a leader in the GenAI space.

* Extensive experience in software engineering, with a proven track record of success in leadership roles such as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), VP of Engineering, or equivalent.
* Demonstrated experience building Generative AI (GenAI) products from scratch, including architecture design, development, and scaling.
* Strong understanding of AI technologies, platforms, and frameworks, with deep expertise in generative models, NLP, and machine learning.
* Proven ability to lead and inspire engineering teams, fostering an environment of innovation and high performance.
* Hands-on experience in designing and delivering scalable AI products in fast-paced environments.
* Prior consulting experience from a top-tier consulting firm (e.g., McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Accenture, etc.) is highly advantageous.
* Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
* Strategic mindset with the ability to balance technical excellence with business acumen.
* Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field preferred.
