Job description / Role
- Deliver speech and language assessments
- Analyze, write reports, communicate assessment results and therapy progress to parents, teachers and managers
- Conduct individual speech and language therapy
- Participate in team meetings and work closely with other children specialists to ensure appropriate therapy
Requirements
Skills:
- Experience in working with children and neurodevelopmental disorders
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Able to write assessments and progress reports
- Experience in any/all of the following: receptive/expressive language disorders (stuttering, apraxia, phonology, auditory processing, reading/writing etc.), eating/swallowing/food aversion, oral motor skills
Education and Work Experience:
- Valid/current CDA license or CDA eligibility
- Recognized Master’s degree in Linguistics/Speech and language pathology
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in the field post-graduation with reference letters
- Licensed/registered in country of origin
