Chiller Technician

Job description / Role

We are seeking a skilled Chiller Technician to join our dynamic facilities management team in Dubai. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of chiller systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency in commercial and industrial settings.

Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair chiller systems and associated equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure system reliability.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults and perform necessary repairs promptly.
- Collaborate with the engineering team to optimize system performance and energy usage.
- Maintain accurate service records and report on maintenance activities.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and provide timely solutions.

- Proven experience as a Chiller Technician or similar role in HVAC or facilities management.
- Strong knowledge of chiller systems, refrigeration cycles, and related electrical components.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Certification or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts if required.
- Valid UAE driving license is an advantage.
- Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.
